The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We currently have a requirement for a Mechanical Quality Inspector, to work on a large scale data centre, based in Belgium (Fly in fly out or full time in country). If you are a Mechanical Inspector with a strong background of Mechanical inspection (HVAC, Chilled Water, Process Piping), please read on. This position is working on a large scale data centre project an hour from Brussels (closer airport 20 minutes from the project), you will need to be based on site Monday-Friday or alternatively live in country. If you have strong experience in Mechanical Quality inspection on large scale construction projects and can mobilise in January, this position offers a very generous rate.

Mechanical Quality Inspector Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems on site including HVAC, Process piping, Chilled water, fire protection.
  • Regular inspections of LLE and OFCI Mechanical equipment.
  • Verify construction activities comply with approved drawings and equipment specification.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results and quality.
  • Review and verify contractor quality documentation, including ITP’s.
  • Raise and track non conformance reports (NCR’s).

Mechanical Quality Inspector Requirements:

  • A proven track record in Mechanical Quality inspection working on large scale, complex construction projects.
  • Data centre/mission critical project experience would be extremely advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of Mechanical systems, HVAC, chilled water etc.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
  • A solid understanding of LLE/OFCI equipment.
  • Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Building Services, HVAC or similar.
