We currently have a requirement for a Project Director, to oversee a major project working in central London (circa £13 million). The project is secured and due to go to site early 2026.
They are looking for someone who is currently working as a Project Director, they will however consider a very strong Senior Project Manager/Project Lead looking to take their next step. If you are a strong client facing Project lead with a proven track record of high end project delivery, please read on.
Project Director Role Requirements and Responsibilities:- You will currently be working as a Project Lead, Project Director or Senior Project Manager, with a proven track record delivering projects in excess of £10 million.
- The project is a public realm scheme, you will oversee a large package to include RC Works, Drainage Works, Lighting and Services, Hard and soft finish, attenuation tanks.
- You will have a strong engineering/Building background, capable of managing large teams of direct reports on site including site and project managers.
- Manage and track job programmes, provide regular updates using Asta Easyplan.
- Track and manage commercial changes/variations.
- Experience of public realm landscaping.
- Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
- Strong IT skills.
- Black or white CSCS card holder.
- NVQ level 6 or 7 in construction management or a relevant qualification.
- Commutable distance to central London and happy to be site based on a daily basis.
