Are you currently working as a HSE Lead, with a proven track record working on large scale construction projects? Are you happy working in Belgium (Fly in fly out or full time in country), and able to mobilise by January?
LDNY People are currently working in collaboration with a leading Data Centre construction business, considered a market leader within the fast paced Data Centre delivery world. They currently have a requirement for a HSE Lead to work on a large scale data centre project in Belgium (within an hour of Brussels airport and another smaller local airport is 20 minutes away).
HSE Lead Role Responsibilities:- You will form part of a high performing project delivery team, based on site Monday to Friday in Belgium.
- Oversee and identify high risk activities across the project at all stages, working closely with key stakeholders on safety planning, encouraging a zero accident culture.
- Develop and maintain accurate reporting and communication structures to provide clear visibility across the project.
- Oversee and evaluate site level HSE through active engagement with site personnel.
- Maintain, manage and enhance health and safety management systems (ISO9001, 14001 and 45001).
- Conduct audits, mentor teams and lead from the front, developing a culture of safety excellence.
- A minimum of 6 years experience in construction safety management on large scale projects.
- Relevant experience within Data centres, Oil and Gas, Pharmaceutical or high voltage infrastructure would be extremely beneficial.
- A strong track record in a HSE Lead, H&S Manager or similar.
- Deep understanding of HSE regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- You must be able to travel and base yourself in Belgium Monday to Friday, either fly in fly out or full time based in country.
