Assistant EHS Advisor Hinkley Point C Are you currently working in an EHS role, looking to work on high profile construction projects in and around the South West. Are you happy to perform a site based role, working as part of a dynamic team with an emphasis on high quality project delivery without compromising safety? LDNY People are currently working in partnership with a leading Engineering and Construction business, they have a strong reputation for project delivery with a particular emphasis on major projects within Clean Energy, Defence, Rail and Data Centres. They are a key delivery partner on one of the UKs largest Project sites, Hinkley Point C. They arelooking to recruit an Assistant Project EHS Advisor to join their site based project team. Reporting directly into the Project EHS Manager, you will work to maintain an injury free workplace, implementing company core values to help ensure everyone goes home safely. Assistant EHS Advisor Role Responsibilities. Work closely with the EHS Lead, implementing company best practice/best knowledge in relation to site based safety. As assistant EHS Advisor, champion Health and safety systems, activities and procedures. Assist in the communication of standards and procedures to site based personnel. Attend EHS committee meetings. Standardise EHS systems, practices and procedures. Ensure the continuous improvement of health and safety across the site/business. Assist in investigations into quality, health or safety incidents. Maintain and safeguard all required statutory records and reports. Respond to queries within the team. Assistant EHS Advisor role requirements: A NEBOSH General/Construction Occupational H&S Certificate Skills Certification Scheme Card Holder (CSCS) or willing to obtain Knowledge of UK Health, Safety and environmental legislation. Computer literate, Excel, Word, powerpoint. Currently located in the South West of England or willing to relocate, this role will require regular site attendance.
