A leading UK‑owned Electronics Manufacturing Services provider is looking for an experienced Head of Product Quality to join its growing team at a new world‑class manufacturing facility. Supporting customers across sectors including space, defence, transport, motorsport, audio and instrumentation, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving quality excellence across a fast‑paced, high‑tech manufacturing environment.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll lead product quality across the full product lifecycle — from NPI through to aftermarket support — ensuring best‑in‑class quality standards, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, suppliers, and customers to improve processes, reduce non‑conformances, and strengthen the Quality Management System across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Product Quality team
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Support ISO9001 & AS9100 compliance and audits
  • Reduce PPMs, scrap, warranty issues, and cost of quality
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Conduct internal audits and KPI reporting
  • Develop quality procedures, systems, and training
  • Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers

About You

  • Proven quality leadership experience within engineering or electronics manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100
  • Experienced auditor with excellent problem‑solving skills
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Results‑driven with the ability to lead teams and projects effectively
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
