We are currently recruiting for three experienced Production Managers to join a leading electronics manufacturing organisation.
These opportunities are available across three specialist areas:
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
- Assembly
- Special Process

The successful candidates will play a key role in leading production teams, ensuring operational excellence and driving performance across their respective value streams.
The Role
As a Production Manager, you will lead a team of production operatives responsible for the manufacture of electronic assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub-assemblies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and oversee daily operations to meet production, quality and delivery targets.
Allocate tasks effectively based on production schedules and individual skill sets.
Ensure all team members understand and follow work instructions, assembly procedures and quality requirements.
Act as the first point of contact for resolving production issues and escalating concerns where appropriate.
Support the training and development of team members through coaching and performance monitoring.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and safety.
Communicate delays, quality concerns and operational issues to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles.
Review and approve timesheets accurately and on time.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a production or assembly environment, ideally within electronics manufacturing.
Proven experience leading, supervising or coordinating teams.
A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate across departments.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
