A leading UK-owned Electronics Manufacturing Services provider is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join its growing team at its world-class manufacturing facility. Supporting customers across sectors including space, defence, transport, motorsport, audio, and instrumentation, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving quality excellence across a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll lead product quality across the full product lifecycle — from NPI through to aftermarket support — ensuring best-in-class quality standards, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, suppliers, and customers to improve processes, reduce non-conformances, and strengthen the Quality Management System across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Product Quality team
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Support ISO9001 & AS9100 compliance and audits
- Reduce PPMs, scrap, warranty issues, and cost of quality
- Implement corrective and preventative actions
- Conduct internal audits and KPI reporting
- Develop quality procedures, systems, and training
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
About You
- Proven quality leadership experience within engineering or electronics manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100
- Experienced auditor with excellent problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Results-driven with the ability to lead teams and projects effectively
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
