We are currently recruiting for three experienced Production Managers to join a leading electronics manufacturing organisation. These opportunities are available across three specialist areas:
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
- Assembly
- Special Process

The Role
As a Production Manager, you will lead a team of production operatives responsible for the manufacture of electronic assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub-assemblies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and oversee daily operations to meet production, quality and delivery targets.
- Allocate tasks effectively based on production schedules and individual skill sets.
- Ensure all team members understand and follow work instructions, assembly procedures and quality requirements.
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving production issues and escalating concerns where appropriate.
- Support the training and development of team members through coaching and performance monitoring.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and safety.
- Communicate delays, quality concerns and operational issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles.
- Review and approve timesheets accurately and on time.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a production or assembly environment, ideally within electronics manufacturing.
- Proven experience leading, supervising or coordinating teams.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate across departments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
