LDH La Doria have been a leading supplier of ambient food products for supermarkets across the UK for over 65 years. We now have a great opportunity for Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic Commercial department. Would suit an individual with, drive and determination and experience in the FMCG industry.

The Role

Working with our largest customer, you will create and deliver a business plan for your categories.

You will have P&L responsibility for the delivery of the budget for your product area.

You will manage the day-to-day relationship with the customer ensuring that we maximise our profile and time with the customer.

You will build relationships with the key stakeholders in our business, always ensuring they understand the customer strategy

What you’ll bring

Exceptional salesperson with the ability to create selling stories including use of category and consumer insight.

Strong negotiation skills.

Experience/ knowledgeable commercial awareness.

People management experience.

Financially astute and full understanding of P&L top to bottom.

Key Accountabilities:

Day to day commercial contact for your retail customer.

P&L responsibility for your specific categories.

Accurately cost commercial deals.

Write and prepare new supply contracts.

Analysis of category insight data to identify and exploit growth opportunities.

Management and continuous monitoring of contract balances to maintain supply.

Understanding of customer business planning process to formulate joint business plans.

Cost model management – understanding of how they work and data submission.

Ability to work with customers in different countries across a business group.

Understanding of demand planning processes.

Work cross functionally with your customer across – Product Development, Technical, Supply, and Commercial.

Be comfortable interacting with senior level individuals with the customer and
