Job Summary: Be an effective member of the QC team carrying out product sampling to ensure all inbound product is compliant with the relevant customer specifications. To carry out tasks delegated by the line supervisor. To be responsive to ad-hoc requests of information. To undertake additional work or projects at the discretion of the line manager.
Key Accountabilities:
- Undertake the relevant QC testing on all products to ensure compliance with customer specifications. These QC tests include tasting of a wide variety of products, some of which may be high in sugar or contain known allergens.
- Monitor and audit warehousing operations.
- Identify and collect sample production codes arriving into the warehouse.
- Ensure that all documentation is completed in full, signed and dated and filed correctly.
- Use of SAP and other PC applications for data entry and analysis (training provided).
- Escalate product issues to the supervisor.
- Raise non-conformance reports and inbound incident reports and circulate as required.
- Calibrate daily the laboratory equipment.
Full training given. Would suit an individual with an interest in Food Technology / Quality.
