We are seeking an individual to join the business to be central to understanding and translating complex financial and operational business flows into effective IT solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring our systems support and enhance core business activities. This role requires deep knowledge of business processes and substantial expertise across various SAP modules.
Job Summary:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and analyse needs, translating them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Initiate discussions and create detailed documentation of current business processes and requirements.
- Oversee and execute test plans and ensure they meet with business requirements and are within budget.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of IT (SAP) projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and on time.
- Facilitate UAT with end-users to ensure the system meets their needs.
- Manage and execute Data Migration activities from legacy systems to the new platform.
- Oversee the Go-Live process, ensuring a smooth and effective transition and provide immediate support post-implementation to address any issues.
- Develop and conduct thorough Training Programs for end-users on new system functionality.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure individual components function correctly.
- Create user manuals and other documentation to support users.
- Develop a blueprint outlining the system's design and configuration.
- Develop prototypes to validate configurations with stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor system performance, gather user feedback, and identify opportunities for Process Optimisation and system enhancement.
Essentials:
- SAP Module Expertise: Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with key SAP modules, including SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and others.
- Data Analysis: Strong skills in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting tools.
- System Integration: Practical experience in integrating various business systems and applications.
- Cloud Products: Familiarity with modern cloud-based solutions and platforms.
- Database Management: Working knowledge of relational database management systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging effectively with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address complex business and technical challenges.
- Project Management: Demonstrated capability in project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within cross-functional team environments.
