The Assistant Account Manager supports the delivery of commercial activities across key retail accounts, working closely with Account Managers and Trading Managers. The role focuses on providing accurate commercial administration, data analysis, and promotional support, ensuring customers, internal teams, and systems are effectively aligned. This position offers an opportunity to develop strong commercial and account management skills within a fast‑paced environment.
- Provide day to day commercial support to the Commercial team.
- Accurately cost commercial deals under direction from the trading managers.
- Support the trading team with data analysis and collection.
- Management and continuous monitoring of contract balances for specific customers.
- Track and monitor EPOS sales performance.
- Manage the LDH Retail promotional process.
- Ensure all promotions are submitted correctly in a timely manner.
- Monitor promotional loading and implementation.
- Reconcile promotional funding.
- Weekly store review to update the business on any significant new product launches and store changes.
- Understand how to use retailer’s portals to run ad-hoc reports to provide sales analysis to the commercial team.
- Manage admin element of NPD, Packaging and Technical projects with relevant departments.
- Manage admin element of range review process to ensure all departments are briefed, spreadsheets with relevant data are updated and accurate.
- Occasional requirement to travel between customer meetings within the UK and internationally.
