Main Responsibilities

  • Part of the maintenance team ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment and facilities through the performance of routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery/equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical and/or plumbing repairs.
  • Liaise with full spectrum of service providers and engineers.
  • Produce service reports and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Upload documents accurately and create actions as directed.
  • Service diary management.
  • Ensure works are completed in the relevant timescales.
  • Procurement of goods and services.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical skills.
