3D Lighting Artist

We are looking for a 3D Artist to join our London studio.

For our London team, we\’re looking for talented 3D Artist to join the team. By combining the liberal arts, digital content, and traditional lighting design, Lighting Design Collective create state-of-the-art lighting schemes.

We are looking for people who can:

· Collaborate with the design team to develop and effectively communicate lighting concepts and storytelling through light for various market sectors, immersive environments, large-scale architectural projects and masterplans.

· Bring a high level of creativity, self-motivation and passion to the team.

· Communicate workflow and process clearly, and be a mentor for other team members in developing their skills and proficiency.

· Participate in coordination meetings internally and externally.

· Manage deliverables on time to a high standard.

Requirements:

· Strong portfolio of artwork, with a focus on light, composition, atmospheric and emotional storytelling.

· A three dimensional and spatial understanding of buildings, including shadow and light, preferably demonstrating experience in creating photometrically realistic visualisations.

· An advanced proficiency with Unreal Engine, 3D Studio Max, VRay and Corona.

· Working knowledge digital production and motion graphics workflow.

· Experience with Blender, Houdini, Rhino, Sketchup, Revit, Lumion, Dynamo and Grasshopper scripting is desirable but not essential.

· Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop and AfterEffects is ideal, with a familiarity of digital artwork production and use of AI tools.

· A good understanding of scale and composition.

· Self-motivated and able to take responsibility with a flexible attitude.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Comfortable with hybrid working.
