We’re looking for positive, caring and proactive individuals to join a dedicated support team for a young man in his parents home.
To be part of their team, they are looking for the following qualities from a team member:
· Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods our individual faces in their daily life.
· Understand Autism or have had experience working with Autistic people, and that you understand that being autistic is an important part of who they are.
· Be a positive advocate for them.
· Be consistent – do what you say you say you will if you can’t explain why.
· Be prepared to motivate them in a supportive manner
· Be patient and understanding encourage them on the difficult days
· Work with them to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks
· Come to work to “Get to know me” as that is what is needed to support them
· Work as part of the team who deliver amazing person-centred care
· Be able to support in a family home, which has a dog.
What You’ll Need:
- A genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives
- Patience, empathy and great communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
- Experience with PBS or a strong willingness to be trained
- A person-centred approach — always putting the individual first
- The ability to work as part of a consistent and committed team
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex health conditions is desirable.

Schedule:
- 08:00 to 20:00 (7 days a week)
- Overtime available
*Refer a Friend Bonus:
- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their first shift
- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their probation period
