We are currently recruiting full time day and bank Mental Health Support Workers to support an individual with mental health needs and a mild learning disability within the KESGRAVE area. Please note we are not a recruitment agency.

The individual will be supported in their own home, so we are looking for experienced Support Workers who can provide 360 wrap around support that covers all aspects of their life providing 3:1 during the day.
To be part of their team helping achieve a sense of pride and achieve what they wish, they are looking for the following qualities from a team member:
- Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods the individual faces in their daily life; a full UK driving licence is desirable for a manual car.
- Have a good understanding of Mental Health and how this can impact daily living or have worked within a mental health, learning disability or autism setting. We will provide up to date and specialised training in addition to this.
- Be a positive advocate and role model for the individual.
- Be consistent.
- Be prepared to motivate the individual in a supportive manner.
- Be patient and understanding; encourage the individual on the difficult days as well as their positive days.
- Have a fun and kind personality who will go on adventures with the individual.
- The individual is extremely outgoing with a wide range of interests, loves to listen to music in particular country, they like to look their best and this can involve shopping to having a haircut. They enjoy visiting places such as the seaside to the library.
- Be able to work with the individual to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks.
- Come to work to “Get to know me” as that is what is needed to support the individual.
- Work as part of the team who deliver amazing person-centred care.
- Think outside the box.
- Be able to have a laugh and joke but understand the importance of set standards and boundaries.

Refer a friend bonus: £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their first shift. £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their probation period.
