LCS Transport Ltd have a very exciting permanent and or part-time vacancy for an experienced driver to join our team in Exeter. As a Multi-Service Driver at LCS Transport Ltd, you will be responsible for a variety of transportation and delivery services. The role includes the transport of goods using Dedicated Van Shipments within the UK and Europe, as well as Specialist Towing Movements in the UK.
This position would suit someone looking for a full time or part-time role with the ability to have total control over your working hours and complete flexibility. The role offers a competitive salary and additional benefits such as a tax-free subsistence for nights away (£30/night).
Key Responsibilities:- Dedicated Van Shipments (UK and Europe):
- Transport goods using our fleet of dedicated vans across the UK and Europe.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of shipments.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries.
- Specialist Towing Movements (UK):
- Operate our fleet of Toyota Hilux for specialist towing tasks.
- Safely tow and transport a variety of vehicles and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations for towing movements.
- Experience with driving in Europe is desirable.
- Experience with towing vehicles is desirable.
- HGV Class 1 or 2 is desirable but not required.
- Good organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent driving skills with a Full UK Clean Driving License.
- Valid Full UK Driving License.
- Additional certifications for towing and handling specialist equipment are a plus.
