We're partnering with a specialist recruitment consultancy operating within the Health & Safety space, who are looking to hire an experienced Recruitment Consultant to support and grow their established white-collar desk. This recruitment consultant role offers genuine flexibility, with 24 days working from home and 12 days per week based in their Farnborough office, making it ideal for someone who values autonomy alongside collaboration.
The Role
This is a consultative recruitment position, focused on building trusted, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates across the white-collar Health & Safety market. You'll take ownership of roles from initial briefing through to successful placement, acting as a subject-matter partner to clients rather than a transactional recruiter.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle in a consultative, quality-driven manner
- Developing strong, long-term relationships with clients across the Health & Safety sector
- Advising clients on market conditions, candidate availability, and hiring strategies
- Sourcing, engaging, and assessing white-collar professionals (e.g. H&S Managers, Advisors, Consultants, Auditors)
- Building and nurturing a specialist candidate network within your market
- Delivering an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships organically
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring compliance with recruitment best practice
About You
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant within a white-collar market
- Experience recruiting into Health & Safety, compliance, technical, or professional services roles is desirable but not essential
- A consultative mindset with a focus on relationship quality over volume
- Strong communication, listening, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with a natural approach to account development
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing your desk in a hybrid working environment
