The Role: As the Assistant Buyer, you will support the Buying team in driving the performance of our Home, Garden and DIY product ranges. Working across a wide portfolio of home and lifestyle products, you will provide day‑to‑day buying support, assisting with product administration and market analysis. You’ll also learn about Far East supplier management and a wide range of processes to support your growth and professional development.
About You: To be considered as the Assistant Buyer, you will need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills
- The ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and colleagues
