What you will do as a Fund Accountant at LCM Partners:
- Assist with the management and reporting of local jurisdiction SPVs, including regular reporting process, Corporate tax and VAT oversight.
- Assist with onboarding of complex transactions, including tax and legal requirements.
- Assist with ongoing fund structuring, including reorganisations and liquidations.
- Review monthly and quarterly fund accounting packs prepared by external administrators.
- Liaising with external fund administrators, banks, servicers, auditors etc.
- Other ad hoc projects and tasks as required by senior management.
Role requirements:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) is essential.
- Graduate with one year post-qualification, currently working in an alternatives fund, at a service provider such as a fund administrator or in practice.
- Experience in Private Debt or Equity related role is preferred.
- Familiarity with fund structures, including SPVs, related legal documentation and regulation.
- Understanding of underlying asset classes.
- Must be numerate and able to demonstrate strong financial literacy.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Conversational Spanish is preferred.
- Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to an advanced level.
Our hiring process:
- 1st round: 30-minute initial screening call with HR.
- 2nd round: 45-minute face to face interview with Senior Fund Accountant & 45-minute Excel-based aptitude examination.
- 3rd round: 60-minute face to face interview with Head of Fund Finance.
