The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.
Working in a safe manner in line with company rules, regulations, policies, procedures as well as the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, other relevant Acts and Regulations as well as Approved Codes of practice you will carry out:
- Attending customers sites to complete planned and reactive works, both on and around the fuel system, including pipework installation and modification, tank installation and decommissioning, installing/maintaining and replacing gauges, alarms, filters, valves, pumps and filtration equipment.
- Fuel quality work including sampling, uplifting, transferring and filtering of fuel.
- Testing of tanks and pipework systems.
- Completing site inspections and surveys, including the completion of Oil storage regulations and OFTEC questionnaires / DSEAR reporting.
- Attending to fuel spills where required and containing/cleaning of contamination.
Working in a high performing team you will undertake the following daily tasks:
- Understanding, adherence and acceptance of Risk Assessments and Method statements as well as the ability to complete Dynamic Risk Assessments.
- Utilising a variety of tools to remove hazardous materials whilst working in a safe manner to avoid taking unnecessary risks.
- Co-operating with line management in ensuring that personnel, contractors and visitors comply with site rules.
- Work alongside your team in the development of equipment, plant and systems to improve safety, health, environmental and quality standards and operational efficiency.
- Working with everyone to promote safety, health, environmental and quality awareness with personnel, contractors and visitors.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.
- Report faults on plant, equipment and infrastructure and any other operational difficulties to a member of the line management team, as they occur.
- Assist in the maintenance of plant.
- Carry out regular training when deemed appropriate and help others with their training needs where required.
- Operating company vehicles for which the post holder is suitably qualified to operate.
- Ensure all uplifting and off-loading of product and materials is undertaken in the correct and compliant manner with high regard for Health and Safety and correct working practices.
- Responsible for ensuring the security of all company vehicles and equipment.
- Liaison with customers on site to discuss ongoing work and further services of the company.
- Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner on our CRM.
- Liaison with Line manager regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
- Responsible for cleaning all plant and equipment post jobs.
