The Role

We are seeking a proactive and creative Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support LCKA’s digital marketing, communications, campaign, and website activity. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining content creation, digital coordination, stakeholder communication, and campaign delivery. You will work closely with colleagues across the Academy, including IT, academic, admissions, student services, and professional services teams. The role is offered on a 0.6 FTE basis. Some flexibility will be required, including occasional travel and evening work to support Academy events, campaigns, and engagement activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of digital marketing campaigns
  • Create and coordinate content for website, social media, email, and other communication channels
  • Maintain oversight of website content, ensuring it is accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with LCKA messaging
  • Work closely with IT and relevant departments to support website updates and digital improvements
  • Support internal and external communications across the Academy
  • Ensure marketing and communications content is clear, appropriate, accurate, and consistent with brand standards
  • Support campaign reporting, content scheduling, and engagement tracking
  • Advise on copyright considerations and ensure content is used appropriately across digital and printed materials
  • Support events, student engagement activity, and promotional campaigns where required
  • Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication delivery

What You Bring

  • Experience in digital marketing, communications, campaigns, content coordination, or a related role
  • Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience updating website content or working with website/CMS platforms
  • Good understanding of social media and digital communication channels
  • Awareness of copyright, image use, permissions, and content compliance
  • Ability to work with IT and internal stakeholders to deliver practical digital solutions
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A flexible and proactive approach, including willingness to support occasional evening activity and travel where required
  • Experience in higher education, further education, training, charity, or community-focused organisations
  • Experience supporting student recruitment, admissions, outreach, or engagement campaigns
  • Basic design or content creation skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar
  • Experience using email marketing platforms, analytics, or campaign reporting tools
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive communication principles
