Warehouse Operative – Ripon – Food Manufacturing Ripon Select Foods Ltd is an established, successful, family-owned business manufacturing dried food ingredients used in many leading branded products. We aim to offer job satisfaction and security. Due to our on-site expansion, we are creating a new warehouse based role. We are looking for an individual whose primary role will be on-site shunting of product to the warehouse from the factory, picking and loading/unloading vehicles, alongside other various duties to suit the needs of the business. The role will involve lifting 25kg bags to be able to carry out all job-related manual handling tasks * The working hours are 40 hours/week on a 3-shift pattern (the shift pattern may change in the future). * The ideal candidate must be reliable and conscientious. You will need a current Counterbalance FLT Fork Lift Truck licence, and a reach truck licence and HGV/LGV experience would be beneficial. Additional skills required are excellent communication and the ability to process information accurately. Computer knowledge would be an advantage. * Previous warehouse experience would be ideal but not necessary as full and comprehensive training will be provided.
