We currently have a vacancy for a Chargehand on our Monday to Friday, this position reports to a Section Manager and leads a team of operatives.
Example Accountabilities:
- Lead and motivate a small team of operatives.
- Promote effective working relationships.
- Maintain company standards – Hygiene/GMP and quality.
- Responsible for ensuring all relevant paperwork is accurately completed.
- Report Health and Safety issues and follow up when required.
- Prepare and conduct regular audits.
- Ensure adequate skills are available and maintained.
- Drive line efficiencies and continually improve waste.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience as Chargehand or Leading hand in charge of a team of operatives.
- Highly flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment.
- Conscientious and pays attention to detail, familiarity with quality paperwork.
- Likes to be challenged and challenge others to have a ‘right first time’ approach.
- Willing to learn new tasks quickly.
Hours: 06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00-13:00 Friday. Flexibility around hours of work is required in order to accommodate business requirements as necessary.
Package: Salary for this position is £14.18 per hour + 28 days holiday a year which includes statutory holidays, Pension scheme.
