Role Summary
The Marketing Executive will support the planning and delivery of brand campaigns, marketing strategy, comms, content and events that drive student recruitment, engagement, ECRM initiatives and brand awareness. They will help manage and ideate email marketing and paid media campaigns, website updates, PPC/SEO and day-to-day marketing activities – acting as first team member for internal and external comms, audience engagement and marketing output. You will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to promote upcoming Open Day events using targeted marketing strategies to maximise event attendance and audience engagement.
The ideal candidate will have experience in CMS and campaign management, comms, content creation, strong organisational skills, and a passion for music, learning and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Support
- Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns (email, digital ads) to drive recruitment, engagement and brand awareness.
- Work closely with the marketing team and designers to create and distribute promotional assets for digital marketing campaigns and events.
- Content Creation & Management
- Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across PPC, paid social, and email.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver campaigns on time.
- Update and maintain website content, blogs, news, course and staff pages (CMS).
- Support Open Days, Offer Holder events, and wider recruitment activities and events.
- Assist with CRM and produce email marketing activity.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with internal teams (admissions, sales, marketing) to align marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance marketing assets and branding.
- Work closely with academic staff to develop initiatives to capture and integrate LCCM’s curriculum into marketing campaigns.
- Event Attendance & Support
- Attend marketing events to provide on-site marketing support, including content capture and live updates.
- Ensure smooth execution of promotional activities during marketing events to enhance attendee experience.
- Campaign Tracking & Reporting
- Analyse marketing performance metrics to evaluate campaign successes and effectiveness.
- Report key insights and suggest improvements for future campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent or relevant experience.
Desirable
- CIM Qualification.
Knowledge & Skills
Essential
- 1–2 years experience in a marketing role (internships considered).
- Understanding of digital marketing channels (PPC, social, email).
- Hands‑on experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
- Proven experience working with creative teams to develop and produce marketing assets, such as promotional materials, videos, and graphics, for events or campaigns.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong writing skills and attention to punctuation and grammar.
- Experience in managing content distribution across various digital platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and performance tracking tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in music, creative industries, or higher education.
- Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager).
Desirable
- Knowledge of the music industry, key players, and audience preferences, especially in events involving artists and industry professionals.
- Experience in the higher education sector.
