  • Experience: Proven experience working in a safeguarding, pastoral, wellbeing, or student support role, ideally within an education or youth-focused environment. Experience coordinating casework, interventions, or student support processes is desirable.
  • Expertise: Strong understanding of safeguarding, pastoral care, wellbeing, equality, diversity, and inclusion, with knowledge of the challenges and support needs of young people in education.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, assess needs, and coordinate effective support for students.
  • Values: Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and student success, with a compassionate, professional, and collaborative approach that promotes positive outcomes for all learners.

Benefits

  • Funded Professional Qualifications: support for personal and professional development, including a personal growth allowance of £400 annually, paid for professional qualifications, LinkedIn Learning access and annual CPD.

  • Pension: We offer a 5% employer pension contribution, supporting you in planning for your future.

Salary: From £15,300 to £16,575 per annum 0.5 FTE (pro rata £30,600 to £33,150 per annum 1 FTE), subject to qualifications and experience.

Closing Date: 8am on Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
