We are seeking passionate and experienced Hairdressing professionals to lead and inspire students on our dynamic Hairdressing course at the London College of Beauty Therapy. As a Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and innovative teaching that combines practical skills with industry insight to help learners thrive. You’ll plan and deliver engaging, relevant content, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure learners gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their careers.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver hairdressing lessons, combining theory and practical work.
- Provide formative and summative assessment of students’ progress.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and incorporate this into the curriculum.
- Mentor students, fostering confidence and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 3 Qualification or above in Hairdressing.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to pursue one upon appointment (ideal but not essential).
- Extensive industry experience in hairdressing; previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
- Outstanding current knowledge of all hairdressing areas and the broader beauty industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring.
