We are looking for an Account Manager to work on our corporate accounts, sitting within LCA’s Corporate & Consumer division. LCA Account Managers are our engine room, responsible for the day-to-day management of accounts. Always pushing forward on the priority tasks, you will manage up and down across your account teams to ensure we continually exceed client expectations.
Our corporate clients include developers, investors, designers, disrupters, asset managers and leasing agents, giving you the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting development projects in the country on behalf of market leading businesses. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the property sector and real estate, with experience working in B2B PR and corporate communications.
At LCA we operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, constantly pushing ourselves, challenging each other and learning as we go along – no one day is ever the same. Your working day would be filled with variety, from press tours with journalists, joining creative sessions to develop new communication campaigns or reporting to clients. About the role- Be the day-to-day contact for clients and ‘engine room’ of your accounts, ensuring communication materials are produced to a high standard.
- Play a lead role with media relations, meeting with journalists, generating stories and managing interest from journalists in a proficient and timely manner.
- Work with Account Directors and above to draft PR strategies that fulfil our clients’ objectives. This will involve having ideas beyond media relations.
- Draft communications materials for client teams. This will include press releases, stakeholder lists, website content, event programmes, key messages and Q&As.
- Manage Account Executives and help to upskill the junior team.
- Regularly network to develop relationships and new contacts and attend relevant industry events.
- At least three years’ experience in B2B PR, preferably in real estate either in-house or agency.
- Have a keen interest in the drivers shaping the UK’s built environment and the property sector including social, economic and political trends.
- An analytical mind with the ability to deliver insight on the issues that matter to our clients.
- Good media contacts and the ability to sell-in to the media across national, regional, local, trade and broadcast press, manage media briefings and host journalist site visits.
- Exceptional writing skills and familiar with writing in a variety of styles and for different audiences e.g. preparing press releases, key messages, proposal documents, speeches or media briefings.
- Confident dealing with senior individuals, from journalists to clients and stakeholders, and excellent presentation skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle a number of clients/accounts.
- Excellent at managing your own time and the time of the team, prioritising tasks and maintaining quality standard across all work and copy.
- A strong team player. You are hands-on, team-focused, and always happy to go above and beyond, while knowing when to bring in Directors on key matters.
- Someone with an approachable demeanour and the ability to thrive in the dynamic and fast-paced agency environment.
- Impeccable attention to detail, results-oriented and a fantastic communicator.
