We are working on a fantastic opportunity for a Property Inspections Team Coordinator to join a busy team.
The successful candidate will provide vital support to our property inspections team.
Once fully trained this will be a hybrid role, working between our Head Office in Springfield, Chelmsford, and home.
Duties will include
- Booking property visits
- Booking check-out appointments
- Sending reminder emails for tenants moving out
- Adding meter readings, appliances, CO, and smoke alarms to Reapit from inventories
- Rearranging property visits
- Taking calls when Property Inspection Consultants cannot answer and monitoring the group email.
- Arranging deposit releases on Docu Sign and submitting to accounts
- Managing content on related third-party CRM systems linked to Condition Reports (Inventories).
- Managing Property Inspection Consultant’s diaries and agency bookings to ensure a smooth coordination of appointments
- Completing deposit negotiations from tenancy end date to the deposit being released.
- Negotiating between landlords and tenants linked to return of deposits at the end of a tenancy, and where applicable, processing relevant paperwork for independent adjudication with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
- Assisting team leader with day-to-day tasks.
- Monitoring inventories inbound, checking when completed to ensure compliance is met, leasing with the progressors and branches if issues with compliance, ensuring properties are ready and finally setting progressors a task to inform them the inventory is complete.
- Being the Inventory department liaison between clerks and branches to arrange last minute appointments.
- Downloading and Sending completed inventories to landlords via email.
Requirements
- Current or previous experience within Residential Lettings is essential.
- Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- A proactive ‘can do’ attitude and approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Outgoing, personable, and enthusiastic
- Ability to work independently whilst also being happy to be a team player.
- Diligent with a strong attention to detail.
- IT proficient, familiar with MS Office packages and able to grasp ‘cutting edge’ technology quickly.
Salary and Benefits
Full-time basic salary circa £25,000p/a - £28,000p/a, plus bonuses, depending on skills and industry experience.

Hours of Work
5 full days per week, 8.30am to 5.30pm (no weekends).
Following successful completion of a probationary period, candidates then work on a hybrid basis between home and branch, working 2 days at home and 3 days at Head Office, Chelmsford.
