Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in the Manchester area, United Kingdom, for an HGV Mechanic. The HGV Mechanic will be responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) within our fleet. Daily tasks include diagnosing faults, troubleshooting issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities involve working with other team members to schedule maintenance and conducting inspections to extend vehicle life and optimise fleet performance.
Qualifications
- Skilled in Equipment Maintenance, Equipment Repair, and Heavy Equipment mechanics.
- Proficient in Vehicle Maintenance and related servicing tasks.
- Experience in troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues effectively.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, with an attention to detail.
