L&C Mortgages is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to provide strategic legal support in a part-time (3 days per week) capacity. The role is hybrid with a requirement for monthly travel to Bath or London.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Strong background in commercial contracts, M&A, and corporate transactions.
- Experience advising executive teams and senior stakeholders.
- Desirable: Experience in financial services (FCA-regulated), SaaS/Tech projects, or private equity.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex commercial contracts.
- Supporting M&A, investments, and strategic partnerships.
- Leading legal due diligence and managing transaction risk.
- Advising senior leadership on business strategy, governance, and regulatory risk.
