LC Legal is delighted to be partnering with a forward thinking, well-established regional firm in Leeds, on the appointment of a Senior Lawyer to lead their Corporate practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing and busy team with a strong pipeline of work. The firm’s client base is heavily embedded in the technology sector, offering outstanding exposure to private equity and investment-backed businesses.
The role involves managing your own caseload and client relationships, advising on high-value and complex matters with a high degree of autonomy. Working within a collaborative environment, you will partner closely with colleagues across the firm to share opportunities, knowledge, and best practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on mergers and acquisitions (typically £1m–£15m)
- Leading private equity transactions and investments, including management buyouts
- Supporting shareholder arrangements and partnerships
- Advising on corporate governance matters
- Supervising and developing junior team members, as well as contributing to wider team initiatives
- Driving business development and networking activity
About you:
- 7+ years’ PQE
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of corporate matters
