Following continued growth and a strong pipeline of major development work, the firm is now looking to appoint an ambitious Real Estate Lawyer (Associate through to Principal Associate level) to join its thriving Housing Development & Regeneration team in Leeds.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to work on high-profile and complex residential development matters within a collaborative, well-resourced and forward-thinking team environment. Alongside the opportunity to work with highly respected partners and recognised market leaders, the firm offers hybrid working and a very competitive remuneration and benefits package.
You will work on a broad range of residential-led projects, advising clients from site acquisition through to delivery and disposal:
- Option, promotion and hybrid agreements
- Mixed-use and large-scale regeneration schemes
- Planning, infrastructure and development agreements
- Affordable housing and public sector-led development projects
- Private rented sector (PRS) developments
- Site assembly and development structuring matters
The role offers exposure to complex, high-value projects across the UK, with the opportunity to develop strong client relationships and become fully immersed within the residential development market. You will enjoy early responsibility, direct client contact and the opportunity to work alongside recognised leaders in the sector on some of the region’s most significant regeneration and development projects.
Requirements:
- 2–6+ years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded residential development or commercial real estate practice
- Strong technical ability combined with sound commercial awareness
- Experience handling development acquisitions, strategic land or broader residential development matters
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service and business development
