This opportunity offers the chance to join a high-performing commercial team within a firm known for its pragmatic, business-focused advice and long-standing client relationships, particularly across the Retail and Technology sectors. The role involves working with a broad client base, from fast-growing SMEs to established national and international brands, advising on a wide range of commercial matters. The work spans general commercial contracts, technology, IP and data/privacy, providing real variety and scope to broaden your expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements (supply, purchase and distribution contracts, outsourcing arrangements, media and marketing contracts, and technology agreements)
- Advising clients on day-to-day commercial issues as well as strategic projects
- Taking increasing ownership of matters and building your own client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring more junior lawyers within the team
About you:
- 3–5 years’ PQE with a solid grounding in commercial contracts
- Strong drafting skills and the ability to deliver clear, commercially focused advice
- Exposure to technology-related work
- A collaborative approach, with an interest in mentoring and team development
- Commercially minded, with an enthusiasm for client relationship building
