LC Legal is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and progressive law firm, seeking to appoint an ambitious Litigation Solicitor. Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Associate (5 years' + PQE) to join the firm's dispute resolution team in Kingston Upon Thames. This role offers flexible hybrid working, alongside an attractive and competitive remuneration and benefits package.
With a strong emphasis on contentious property matters, you will advise a broad range of private sector clients across the full spectrum of commercial property disputes and related litigation.
The role:
- Acting on disputes in the County Court, High Court and specialist tribunals, including First-tier and Upper Tribunal matters
- Advising on a full range of contentious landlord and tenant issues
- Providing strategic, commercially focussed advice outside of formal litigation proceedings
- Advising on Party Wall Act matters and agreements
- Enfranchisement claims
- Contractual disputes relating to property
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate
- Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team
About you:
- 5 years’ PQE with strong litigation experience, ideally with a leaning toward commercial property disputes
- Comfortable running your own caseload with appropriate senior support
- Technically strong with sound procedural knowledge
- Interested in mentoring or supervising junior colleagues
- Commercially aware and keen to contribute to team growth
