LC Legal is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing firm recognised by both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, on the appointment of a Defendant Personal Injury Litigator based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team known for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice and building long-standing client relationships, particularly within the retail and technology sectors. The firm is seeking to appoint talented solicitors at Lawyer or Senior Solicitor level.

The role involves managing a varied caseload of multi-track and intermediate track defendant EL/PL claims (primarily retail-focused), from the commencement of litigation through to trial.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering an excellent client service, ensuring matters are handled efficiently and profitably
  • Advising on strategy, liability, and quantum
  • Working collaboratively within a wider litigation team, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative and case law developments
  • Ensuring compliance with risk management procedures and Money Laundering Regulations

About you:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in defending high value intermediate, fast and multi-track claims
  • Proven experience handling high value multi-track matters through to trial
  • Strong working knowledge of the Damages Claims Portal
