An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced legal professional to move into an in-house position with a well-regarded professional services organisation. This role would particularly suit a Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced fee earner currently working in private practice who is seeking a transition away from fee-earning and into a broader advisory, risk and stakeholder-focused environment.

Working closely with senior legal professionals and leadership teams, the successful candidate will take ownership of complex complaints and client care matters, ensuring issues are managed effectively, sensitively and in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practice.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and resolving complex complaints and conduct matters
  • Liaising with the Legal Ombudsman on escalated cases
  • Advising senior stakeholders on risk, compliance and regulatory considerations
  • Supporting continuous improvement across complaints handling processes
  • Producing reporting and trend analysis for senior management
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members
