An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to lead and grow the Commercial Property offering within a dynamic and ambitious Birmingham city centre law firm. Commercial Property is a key strategic priority, and the firm is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial leader to shape, build and scale the department.
The Opportunity
- Lead and develop the Commercial Property function
- Drive business development and strategic growth initiatives
- Build and mentor a team as the department expands
- Work closely with other successful arms of the business to cross-refer and maximise opportunities

The firm already services a strong, nationwide client base across manufacturing, retail, hospitality, care homes, logistics, warehousing and distribution. There is significant untapped opportunity to expand commercial property instructions from existing relationships, alongside developing new work streams. The caseload is broad and includes:
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Commercial leases and portfolio management
- Development work
- Property finance and secured lending
- Option agreements and conditional contracts
- Asset management work for owner-managed businesses
