We are working with one of Birmingham’s largest and most highly regarded real estate practices to recruit for an Associate (0–2 PQE) into their growing Real Estate team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a top-tier real estate group working on high-value, high-profile development and investment transactions across a diverse range of commercial sectors including logistics, industrial, retail, offices, and data centres.
You’ll work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a broad mix of matters, including:
- Acquisition and disposal of land and major real estate assets (freehold & leasehold)
- Development projects, including conditional contracts and strategic land transactions
- Pre-lets, commercial lettings, and sale & leaseback arrangements
- Structuring development deals, joint ventures, and funding arrangements
- Real estate aspects of financing transactions (including Certificates of Title)
- Drafting and negotiating key property documents and agreements
This role offers exposure to nationally significant projects and the chance to build relationships with high-profile clients including developers, investors, and corporate occupiers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing your own matters with appropriate supervision
- Supporting on large, complex, multi-party transactions
- Conducting title investigations, due diligence, and reporting
- Liaising with clients, agents, and other professional advisers
- Contributing to business development, client events, and marketing initiatives
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 0–2 years’ PQE in real estate
- Strong technical grounding in commercial property law
- Experience drafting and negotiating leases, contracts, and related documents
- Commercially minded, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines
- Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
