The Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to manage, maintain, and report on a diverse range of client assets. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in an organised environment and is comfortable using technology to streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory & Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock counts and ensure all controls are up to date using cloud-based IT platforms.
- Job Prep & Dispatch: Prepare equipment and goods for dispatch, ensuring everything is loaded and unloaded safely.
- Warehouse Operations: Safely store client assets and operate MHE (Counterbalance/Reach trucks) to move stock.
- Communication: Coordinate with other departments and clients via digital platforms.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and maintain high standards of general housekeeping.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment with a solid understanding of manual handling.
- Attributes: A hard-working individual with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Skills: The ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload effectively.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using IT systems and apps for reporting and communication.
Preferable Additions:
