L & C Consulting are recruiting a successful and growing manufacturing company for a new R & D Lead / Quality Chemist to join their small team. This permanent position will suit an experienced Quality Technician / R & D Chemist looking for a role on a Monday‑Friday day shift and further their career in the construction products industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and existing products
- Research & Testing
- Develop supplier relationships
- Support QC testing
- Troubleshooting
- Day‑to‑day management & development of a small team
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry (or similar)
- Experience in a similar role in the construction / construction products industry (essential)
- Good communication skills
- IT literacy and ability to keep accurate records
- Hard‑working, flexible and technically astute; able to work independently and lead a broader team
Salary c£40,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
Location The site is commutable from all parts of Telford as well as Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shifnal, Ironbridge, etc.
