L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful Manufacturer for a new QC Lead / Senior Quality Technician to join them on a permanent basis. It will suit an experienced, systems driven, Senior QC Technician looking for a role on a Monday – Friday day shift, ideally with experience in the Building / Construction sector.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Supervise QC Technician and cover raw material/product testing.
  • Manage and develop ISO9001, 14001, 45001 systems; arrange audits and support improvements.
  • Create Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations (training provided).
  • Submit EDP to regulators (e.g., packaging waste).
  • Generate CE marks for products with QC and management support.
  • Create COSHH risk assessments for factory materials.
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

You will be hard working and self-motivated as well as technically astute – able to work independently but also as part of a broader team. Experience in a similar role is essential. You MUST have experience with ISO9001, 14001, 45001 systems and have experience managing internal audits. You will have good communication skills and be IT literate.

Monday – Friday, day shift. Salary will be based on experience, £35,000 - £42,000. Location requires own transport, but the site is commutable from all parts of Telford as well as Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shifnal etc.
