Technical Engineer – Permanent – Telford
L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful, expanding business in Telford for a new Technical Support Engineer / Telecoms Specialist / Technical Engineer. This permanent position will suit an experienced IT professional who is looking for a next step in their career with a professional and rewarding organisation. The role requires West Midland wide travel, so a valid UK driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Installation & configuration of various communication systems
- Fault finding and customer support & training
- Supporting customers in and around Shropshire, West Midlands, Staffordshire and Mid Wales
- Travel regularly to these areas
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience within an IT and/or telecommunication support or software‑based support role
- Ability and desire to learn a bespoke product
- Professional, flexible, well‑organised with excellent communication skills
- Technically astute and seeking development opportunities
Travel & Hours
Standard hours are 08:30 – 17:30, Mon – Fri but some flexibility will be needed given the field‑based elements of the role. Based in Telford, you should live within a commutable distance of here.
Travel: West Midland wide; commute from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Newport, Shifnal, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton, Perton etc.
