Technical Engineer – Permanent – Telford L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful, expanding business in Telford for a new Technical Support Engineer / Telecoms Specialist / Technical Engineer. This permanent position will suit an experienced IT professional who is looking for a next step in their career with a professional and rewarding organisation. The role requires West Midland wide travel, so a valid UK driving licence is essential. The role will involve duties including installation & configuration of various communication systems as well as fault finding and customer support & training. You’ll be supporting customers in and around Shropshire, West Midlands, Staffordshire and Mid Wales and your role will require regular travel in these areas. To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have experience in a similar role. You will have experience within an IT and or telecommunication support / software-based support role and have the ability and desire to learn all about this bespoke product. Standard hours are 08:30 – 17:30, Mon – Fri but some flexibility will be needed given the field-based elements of the role. You will be based in Telford, so should live within a commutable distance of here. You will be professional, flexible and well organised as well as having excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with customers of various levels and technical knowledge. You will obviously be technically astute and looking for a role that will offer development opportunities.
