We are looking for a Tenancy Officer to join the Tenancy Management Service and deliver an efficient tenancy management service to residents.

Responsibilities

  • Work with residents experiencing a change in their circumstances to ensure they receive necessary support.
  • Respond to and manage a course of action when a breach of tenancy has occurred.
  • Maintain expertise on legislation and current good practice relating to tenancy and lease management.
  • Manage a caseload of tenancy related activity to a professional standard and in line with policies and procedures.
  • Lead on cases of anti‑social behaviour (ASB), domestic abuse (DA), hoarding and safeguarding.
  • Support tenancy fraud initiatives and ensure empty homes are brought back into use as quickly as possible.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience of working with residents and members of the public face‑to‑face.
  • Able to negotiate stairs.
  • Satisfactory employment references and CIFAS identity checks; satisfactory declaration of interest; satisfactory DBS check.
  • Fluent spoken English, with confidence and accuracy sufficient for effective performance of the role.
