With sales in excess of £90m across 30+ sites and a team of 450+ people, LBS Builders Merchants, South Wales’ largest independent builders’ merchant is looking to expand its Public Sector team.

We are looking for someone that:

  • Has a proven track record within the Public Sector field with a clear understanding of sector language, bid process and future industry requirements. This could come from a Manufacturing/Merchant Sales or Procurement role within the sector.
  • Bid writing experience would be advantageous, as would knowledge of WHQS and The Wellbeing of Future Generations Act.
  • Can build and maintain productive relationships with customers/ local authorities/ suppliers / branch network.
  • Demonstrates a real passion for outstanding customer service through high customer visibility and facilitating commercial partnerships
