Are you a motivated and curious student looking to gain meaningful work experience this summer? Join the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) for a unique 6-week paid internship. We are offering internships in Compliance and in MarComms Events. Based in the heart of the City of London, you will have the opportunity to develop practical skills and contribute to the work of the international authority for precious metals.

We have opportunities for an intern in one of the following departments:
- Compliance Internship: 6 weeks from mid July 2025. Do you want to experience firsthand how global finance operates and how to protect its integrity? Then a Compliance Internship is the right option for you. You will become familiar with the Global Precious Metals Code and Responsible Gold Guidance Rules, as well as the Anti Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing environment. If you're excited about making a difference and keen to dive into the fascinating world of compliance, this internship will provide you with valuable skills, industry knowledge, and a unique experience that sets you apart in the financial services industry.
- MarComms & Events Internship: 6 weeks from mid July 2025. Our MarComms & Events internship is designed to offer valuable insight into the dynamic world of marketing and events within a leading international organisation. In this role, you will work with the Marketing team on many aspects of their work, including website content, social updates and how communications are targeted. You will also spend time as part of the Events team to learn what goes into the planning and delivery of high-profile events such as conferences and member engagements. Plus, you'll be based in a vibrant, fast-paced environment that values collaboration and innovation.
Ideal candidates will be working towards or have achieved a Bachelor’s degree and will have:
- An interest in learning more about the precious metals industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate information to various audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- A strong work ethic, and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to network with the ability to make a positive impression.
- Self-drive and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Previous work experience in an office environment (desirable).
