About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinician and leader to provide strategic and clinical leadership to Barnet’s well-established and expanding Mental Health Support Teams (MHST), working in close partnership with Early Help, to advance and embed the borough’s ‘Team Around the School’ service delivery model. This is a senior post within Barnet Integrated Clinical Services (BICS), working closely with Early Help, schools, health, and external partners to deliver high-quality, evidence-based and inclusive mental health support to children, young people, and their families in Barnet.

The post holder will provide strategic leadership of MHST delivery across three Early Help Hubs, including the design, implementation and evaluation of the Team Around the School (TAS) model with our Early Help partner. The role involves line management of senior managers and oversight of a multidisciplinary workforce, with responsibility for clinical governance, quality assurance, safeguarding and risk management. Working in partnership with Early Help, schools, commissioners and multi‑agency partners, the post holder will oversee budget.
