Graveney School is seeking a Biology graduate to join our small team of experienced technicians. The successful candidate will require an excellent understanding of Science up to A-Level. Experience of working in a school laboratory or similar environment would be desirable.
Applicants will have:
- Ability to work methodically, paying particular attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills in order to relate effectively to teaching staff and students
- Ability to support students and teachers in the preparation of practicals for Biology
- Written communication and numeracy skills
- Good ICT skills and willingness to learn new packages
- Appreciation of the routines required for laboratory preparation and adherence to good practice
- Able to work effectively as part of a team with a flexible approach to work
- Horticultural interest or experience would be an advantage
This is an event linked maternity cover position starting at the beginning of September 2026. We would be happy to consider proposed part-time applicants for this role.
