Objective of role

Are you passionate about safeguarding children? Are you looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work with a range of partner agencies, service providers, professionals, third sector organisations, and other stakeholders to ensure that we all work in a system that responds to the needs and interests of children and families across Kingston and Richmond? If yes, come and join the Kingston and Richmond Safeguarding Partnership team in this permanent role to work with schools, the voluntary, community & faith sectors to promote effective joint working to safeguard children in Kingston and Richmond.

About the role

You must have:

  • Experience of working in children's safeguarding
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding legislation, statutory frameworks and national policy affecting services for children and young people
  • Experience of working in or contributing to multi-agency services to safeguard children and young people
  • Experience of working with a range of partner agencies, service providers, professionals, third sector organisations, and other stakeholders
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal and have good ICT skills including proficiency with Microsoft work package

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Experience of producing business plans, policy documents, briefing notes, website content and other documents
  • Experience of collecting, analysing, interpreting and reporting data and other performance information
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use different communication styles and techniques to present ideas and influence others
